Having been bombarded over the last two weeks by a rather intriguing Meerkat purporting to be nothing to do with car insurance, I was interested to see that twittering has now extended to our furry friends. Not content with setting up his own website where you can “Compare the Meerkat” (I finally selected a Yoga practising one from Weston super Mare), for those interested in all things meerkat you can also follow his every move on twitter. He’s creating quite a stir, with over 2000 followers already. It’s a great example of an innovative, integrated approach to marketing car insurance, and other price comparison sites, thank goodness.
